Bell Tower Bistro in Saratoga

What an awful experience! We arrived at 2:23pm (restaurant closes at 3). It took about 10 minutes for them to acknowledge us and seat us. No one else was waiting to be seated. Once seated, the waiter was rude. Told us the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes which surprised us. We hurriedly ordered our food after being told several items were unavailable. We ordered garlic fries to hold us over while we waited for food. The waiter brought us the wrong fries and when we told him, he was annoyed. Our food came out very cold. We ordered French onion soup and the cheese wasn't even melted. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and it was all cold. While we ate they proceeded to start cleaning around us. The smell of ammonia and bleach while we ate was nauseating. Chairs were put up on tables around us. I will never eat here again. We left at 3:03pm.

Bell Tower is one of my favorite places for breakfast. Their prices are so reasonable and the service is terrific. My favorite omelet is the Californian - organic eggs, fresh mozzarella, chicken apple sausage, avocado drizzled with homemade pesto aioli. Yummy!

If you want something sweet, the churro waffles are a win. Their plates are big enough to share. Decent cappaccinos and you can bring your dog to sit outside!

WONDERFUL staff...attentive to every need. Great food. Though an "eat-and-run" atmosphere, (does not promote lingering); really who wants to view techy tables doing e-tasks while enjoying delicious food.

I regularly stop by getting some food in this spot. I enjoy the rapid service and well prepared dishes. I recommend this place.

I have come here for lunch with my colleagues several times, and every time it was a pleasant experience. Food is great, service is too. The building is very unique on its own- it is very old building with beautiful architectural details. They also have a beautiful outdoor area surrounded with greenery. Unfortunately I have not come here in the evening; I suspect it is very nice there later in the day.

Came in for brunch on a Saturday, and it was really good!The Red Velvet Pancakes were not only beautiful looking, but delicious and not overly sweet as you would initially expect. The Crepe Santa Cruz had crab inside, topped with shrimp and perfectly served salmon. Both of these dishes were signature items on the menu, so definitely a must try!Also, both the Eggs Benedict and the Turkey, Bacon & Avocado sandwich were really good, with those country potatoes being cooked perfectly.The place was very clean and not too busy on a Saturday morning. We also discovered that it is an old church converted into a restaurant!With fresh, local ingredients and an extensive menu, this place really has something for everyone!

Prefer the crepes over the omelettes, which are a little rough.

Beautiful location. Chicken caeser salad was blah. Chicken tasted greasy and reheated. And I hate when they use the white part of the romaine. Chicken salad was a nice portion, but all you can taste is onions. Service was like the food. Blah

Supper delicious Lunch! The western burger is out of this world. My daughter ordered the spinach salad. The dressing is sweet and tangy. All the other burger variations are very tasty 😋. Great service as well! Yes, come here. It’s gooooood!

I ordered "A Healthy Start," which was great! My girlfriend ordered some eggs benedict, and she also was delighted with her brunch. I have been here several times before, and the service quality differs from time to time.However, most of the time, the service is great, and I enjoy coming here for my friendly brunches!

Staff are very attentive and sweet! The food is very good and tasty. When we were leaving, we forgot our credit card and one of the ladies ran out in the rain to give it back to us. It's sucha cozy atmosphere inside the Cafe! They make wonderful iced mocha. The omelets are super awesome and the Benedict is unbeatable. Also, the quantity is perfect for a breakfast. I, for the first time, did not need a "To go" box at a breakfast place.

Service was very slow. Food was presented well when it finally arrived. Recommend if you don't mind waiting. Not recommended if you are hungry.

This place is just delicious. Outdoor courtyard dining in Saratoga is a rare thing, and a tasty brunch with fresh food in a lush environment is unheard of. I love it!You have to try the red velvet pancakes. They are soft, moist (yes I had to say it) with a glaze that is like a dessert in the morning. I usually order an egg dish, and we will order the pancakes to split around the table. The servers are really nice here too. I have never had a bad experience.Did I mention they have red velvet pancakes?

Excellent place for breakfast or lunch. There are plenty of options that all sound delicious, so it's actually kind of difficult to decide. I ended up having the California omelette, which has chicken sausage, avocado, and pesto aioli. You have the choice of sourdough, wheat, or rhy toast. The omelette also comes with potatoes, orange slices, and cantaloupe. The potatoes are well cooked and seasoned, very good with chipotle Tabasco. The omelette itself was well made and the pesto aioli really ties it together. This place has a good atmosphere if you want to sit and talk and enjoy your breakfast. The wait can be a while, but it's worth it.

Felt sick after eating there unfortunately, not sure what it was in the food (ordered French toast and quiche). Was perfectly fine before that.

I admire this place a lot. It has a different atmosphere. The food is good. the service is effective and the stuff is very professional. The cost is fair. greatly recommend.

A very local neighborhood restaurant. It seems like patrons know each other including the servers. Parking across the street in front of the restaurant. Food is great (we had the omelletes) and have great selections as well as above average price. Would come back to try the sandwiches.

two days ago was our first time we visited this place. But It is obviously not the last time. We had great time with the generous service, with the finest food and fine drinks and with the honest cost. We will no doubt visit there soon.

Good food, well portioned reasonable price

The Gooogle listing incorrectly indicated the place was not open until 8:00 AM. Bell Tower Cafe opens at 7AM. I think this might be the reason we had the place to ourselves. We had a very nice breakfast. Parked on the Oak St. Server was friendly. The cook was very good, crafting a simple breakfast which exceeded our expectations.

This place is awesome. Miguel is the best!

The manager is so rude. I ordered online for pick up via door dash and he was arguing with me that it’s not allowed. He asked if I was working for door dash if not I had to pay extra. I explained I was already charged directly thru the app. I showed my phone for proof. I ended getting my food, but the experience was horrible. Blaming a customer is not great service. The manager should check with door dash service if they don’t want customers ordering thru the service. That’s their problem, not mine.

Nice and charming place with decent space inside. If you are around Saratoga, go there for a breakfast or morning snack.

A little pricey for breakfast and just one cup of coffee. Waffle was good as was the coffee. Follow up 6/24/18 Still good food, however asking for crispy bacon? The cook has no idea what that is. Also, asked for water twice. Nope. Had to go to the counter for another cup if coffee. It's a little frustrating.

This is a great place. Food was great, service was good but got our order wrong, which was ok as the waiter made up for it with his great service. Definitely coming back.

Last week was the first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the excellent service, with the great cooking and wine and with the modest cost. We will no doubt visit there soon.

Decent food. Not sure I love the service

This was one of the best brunch experiences I've ever had. I was so excited when I got my plate to the point that I forgot to take any picture of it. The staff were so friendly too. Highly recommend this place.

Great breakfast place. Quality food and service, and doesn't get too crowded. The place has a lot of history.

Went on a Sunday at 2 pm with family. No waiting to be seated. Service was good. Food arrived fast and all of them tasted good. We had freshly squeezed orange juice, croissant sandwich,. Veggie burrito, red velvet pancake, chicken Panini. Loved it...will go again.

Place had good reviews so we tried it out. Food was good but the service WE had was horrible. Took forever to give our drinks, take our order, and they messed up on our orders and by the time it got to us, we ran out of appetite. Too bad cause other customers were attended better than us.

I had the Florentine burrito at $9 is about the cheapest item on the menu. Espresso was pretty good.
